Build the Wave is a political digital consulting firm specializing in grassroots fundraising and digital programs for campaigns and progressive organizations. Were looking for an Email Fundraising Associate with 12 years of hands?on experience managing email fundraising or outreach programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute email fundraising and outreach programs from start to finish
• Draft, edit, and optimize fundraising emails (including subject lines, asks, and calls to action)
• Schedule and deploy emails using platforms like NGP, Action Network, Mailchimp, or similar
• Track performance metrics (open rates, click rates, revenue) and suggest improvements
• Collaborate with senior strategists to implement messaging and fundraising strategy
• Maintain clean lists, segments, and basic reporting

Requirements

• 12 years of direct experience running email fundraising or outreach programs
• Experience with political campaigns, nonprofits, advocacy groups, or mission-driven companies
• Strong writing and editing skills, especially persuasive fundraising copy
• Familiarity with email platforms and basic analytics
• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple clients in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setting
