About The Role

The Senior Third-Party Risk Management Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing our Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) program. This position is integral in shaping and maturing the TPRM processes, drawing upon your analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills to drive efficiency and create enterprise value.

As a part of the team, you will collaborate with various Third-Party Risk Analysts and provide leadership in areas encompassing program governance, regulatory compliance, and the enhancement of our TPRM framework. You will have the opportunity to influence and optimize our third-party risk management technology, ensuring it aligns with our business and regulatory needs while improving workflows and communication among stakeholders.

You will manage activities throughout the entire third-party lifecycle, including planning, monitoring, due diligence, and off-boarding. Your work will include conducting risk assessments, analyzing vendor performance in terms of financial health, compliance, and cybersecurity to ensure alignment with our standards.

Your responsibilities will also involve reviewing contract provisions and information security controls, supporting contract management, and ensuring the protection of the bank's interests. Significant cross-functional coordination and the ability to influence stakeholders will be imperative to your success in this role.

Location: This is a Corporate position which may be located at an available bank division location across our nine-state footprint in AZ, CO, ID, MT, NV, TX, UT, WA, or WY. The entry rate for this position is $69,464.94 per year (calculated for Kalispell, MT).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our TPRM technology platform, enhancing operational models and fulfilling regulatory expectations.
  • Provide guidance for risk-based due diligence reviews across third and fourth-party relationships, focused on assessing operational, compliance, and cybersecurity risks.
  • Develop and maintain the TPRM program through updates to policies, procedures, and training, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage the contract review and execution process to protect the bank's interests and ensure information security.
  • Create and deliver management and board reporting on third-party performance and risks to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Stay updated on regulatory developments and enhance the TPRM program to align with best practices and evolving expectations.
  • Support the Enterprise Risk Management function through report development and analysis of emerging risk issues.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in risk management activities, particularly related to legal, vendor, or compliance risks.
  • 2 years of experience in conducting assessments of complex documents and the ability to interpret and recommend revisions.
  • Experience with SSAE 18 Reports, SOC Reports, and various cybersecurity frameworks is preferred.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of banking regulations and third-party risk management practices.
