Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.We're looking for experienced software engineers to join our Public Sector Engineering team as a key part of our Claude for Government initiative.This role requires strong expertise in developing enterprise software solutions with exceptional security, compliance, and scalability standards. You'll be responsible for building features that meet the needs of public sector customers.Work with legal and compliance teams to ensure all engineering practices meet government requirementsDevelop automated compliance tooling and monitoring for government-specific security controlsCreate identity management solutions, including SSO integration and role-based access controlsDesign and build scalable systems for enterprise deployment, user management, and administrative controlsCollaborate with product teams to understand enterprise customer needs and translate them into technical solutionsBuild industry-specific solutions to meet the needs of users across public sector6+ years of practical experience as a software engineer~ Strong technical background in backend development~ Track record of delivering high-quality, scalable software in production environmentsActive federal security clearance (Secret or above)Experience with multi-tenant architecture and enterprise deployment modelsKnowledge of enterprise billing systems and seat managementExperience partnering with sales and customer success teamsExperience delivering software to government networksAn active security clearanceWe require at least a Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Location-based hybrid policy: Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas!
