Talascend is currently seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.
Shift
Hybrid role
8 am to 4:30 pm with 30 minute lunch break
Overview
Responsible for development, systems integration, and verification of core aircraft state and/or aircraft systems monitoring and synoptics applications to be hosted on the next generation avionics platform.
Qualifications
- Engineering or Computer Science degree.
- Model based systems engineering experience.
- Avionics experience.
- Embedded systems experience.
- Systems/software requirements development, Validation, Integration or Verification experience.
- Model based system design (using Simulink, preferred).
- Arinc 661 graphics development (using Scade, preferred).
- Experience working with sensors used for aircraft position / Navigation (Air Data, AHRS, GPS).
- Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC).
