Summer Associate Program
The Summer Associate Program allows students to collaborate with senior leaders who are committed to growing, developing, and empowering the next generation of healthcare leaders.
Summer Associates will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with Neighborhood Care on projects within a group setting across the organization.
The Neighborhood Care team, located throughout the New York City area, offers in-person support, connections to local services, and programs to help the entire community. They help you understand your benefits, find in-network doctors and specialists, resolve any billing or claims issues, and more. Each Neighborhood Care location hosts programs tailored to the community and provides help with insurance and health care.
Program Details
- Ten-week paid program: Monday, June 1 - Friday, August 7
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Hourly rate: $30 per hour
- Hybrid Work Schedule: May be asked to come to the office two days a week
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or above preferred
- Undergraduate students (expected graduation between December 2026 to May 2028)
- Graduate students (expected graduation between December 2026 to June 2027)
- Interest in the healthcare industry
- Analytical, collaborative, strong communication, and project management skills
- All applications must be submitted by 5 PM (EST) on Friday, January 16
- If selected, on-site interviews will be conducted mid February 2026
