Join Our Team as a Certified Nursing Assistant - PRN

We are seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide compassionate care and support in a unique, private facility dedicated to empowering adolescent girls. This PRN position offers flexible scheduling, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on growth and recovery.

In this role, you will be instrumental in facilitating daily activities such as physical education, shower schedules, family communication, dinners, homework assistance, and quiet time. You will contribute to creating a calm, respectful atmosphere where the girls feel safe and supported. The setting is more of a "house-mom" style environment, emphasizing nurturing and stability rather than traditional inpatient care.

Required Skills:

• At least 1 year of experience in mental health or related fields
• Some college education in a relevant area preferred
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overnight hours
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Female candidates preferred due to the population served
• Valid driver's license (chauffeur's license preferred but not required; must be obtained prior to start)
• Certification not mandatory but recommended
• BLS certification is recommended

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working with adolescents displaying behavioral or mental health challenges
• Knowledge of Borderline Personality Disorder or similar conditions
• Ability to drive a sprinter van for activities and outings

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Some college coursework in mental health, psychology, social work, or related fields
• Minimum of 1 year experience working with youth or in mental health settings

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to obtain a chauffeur's license if not already held
• Commitment to working scheduled shifts, which may include evenings and overnight hours
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all safety requirements

This position offers a pay rate of $23.00 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x. Benefits include comprehensive medical coverage, weekly pay via direct deposit, paid sick time, referral bonuses, and reimbursements for licensure, certifications, travel, and other expenses.
