Job Description:
As a Sr Security Engineer SSO, you will provide advanced security engineering support focused on Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions and identity management. This role involves hands-on experience with Ping Federate technologies, troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing secure authentication solutions. You will also monitor emerging security threats, assist in creating detection mechanisms, and ensure compliance with security standards across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and manage SSO solutions using Ping Federate, Ping ID, and Ping Access.
• Troubleshoot authentication and access-related issues independently.
• Monitor and analyze emerging security threats and assist in developing detection mechanisms.
• Work with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes for secure deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure integration of applications and services.
• Maintain high levels of client assurance and confidence through effective security practices.
• Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments as needed.
• Document security configurations and maintain system integrity.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Hands-on experience with Ping Federate, Ping ID, and Ping Access.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes technologies.
• Familiarity with HYPR or passwordless authentication solutions is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Linux, firewalls, VPN, intrusion detection/prevention, and penetration testing.
• Strong technical background in L2/L3 firewalls, application layer security, DDOS mitigation, and traffic anomaly detection.
• Ability to analyze network traces and resolve complex security issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of experience in security implementation and engineering.
• Excellent communication skills and self-starter attitude.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
