Our client, a prestigious AmLaw 100 national law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its established Housing & Real Estate Finance Practice Group. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial real estate finance matters within a nationally-recognized practice that closes transactions across all 50 states.

Candidate Profile

  • JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
  • Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing
  • 2-5 years of substantive experience in commercial real estate finance
  • Experience representing lenders or borrowers in commercial real estate finance transactions
  • Familiarity with multifamily housing finance programs, including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and/or FHA multifamily, is a plus
  • Strong background in reviewing title insurance, surveys, and related due diligence materials
  • Exceptional drafting, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
  • Commitment to superior client service, with interest in direct client contact and business development opportunities
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Housing & Real Estate Finance team in originating, structuring, and closing complex commercial real estate finance transactions
  • Review and negotiate loan documents, closing deliverables, title insurance policies, surveys, and due diligence materials
  • Work closely with multifamily lenders and engage with national lending programs where applicable
  • Coordinate multi-jurisdictional transactions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct legal research and prepare client-ready memoranda and transaction summaries
  • Participate in client meetings, industry events, and business development initiatives

Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Salary: Expected annual salary range of $205,000 - $275,000, commensurate with experience and market conditions
