What you're applying for

We are looking for a Senior Insurance Product Manager to join our team in creating the most loved insurance on the planet.

This is a critical role within the Insurance Product team, focused on profitably growing Lemonade's Property line. You will partner closely with our Actuarial, Insurance Operations, and Underwriting experts to craft an insurance experience that is fast, simple, and delightful for our customers, while driving forward our product roadmap and monitoring the success of key initiatives.

In this role you'll

• Own Catastrophe (CAT) management and strategy, leveraging complex data to deliver state-specific recommendations for underwriting, pricing, and risk mitigation
• Drive the countrywide pricing plans and overall homeowners strategy to ensure profitable growth
• Continuously monitor product performance, measure the impact of changes, and recommend data-driven improvements and enhancements
• Collaborate with Actuarial and Underwriting experts on developing coverage, pricing accuracy, and eligibility requirements
• Translate product vision into actionable plans, gathering detailed product specification documents to define project requirements
• Research market trends, competitor actions, and regulatory changes to inform and advance the homeowners business
• Partner with Insurance Operations to facilitate regulatory approval for new features, rate changes, and product enhancements

What you'll need

• 8+ years of P&C experience, with a minimum of 6 years in personal lines homeowner insurance state or product management
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, with a knack for identifying trends and driving action
• Strategic thinker with an ownership mentality, willing to challenge the status quo and propose creative solutions
• Superior organizational and project management capabilities, comfortable managing multiple complex priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong collaborative spirit and exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a remote environment
• Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI - a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture

Lemonade's US base salary range for this full-time position is $140,000-160,000 annually plus equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
