Description:

Work Location: Remote, This position does not require employees to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work off-site on a permanent basis. This position requires an employee to cover territory visits to dealerships on a recurring frequency. Relocation may be provided.

Job Responsibilities:

The Field Sales Manager will have territorial responsibility for the administration and execution of Energy programs: Home Referral Dealers and Home Authorized Dealers, and for the sales performance of our EV chargers, accessories, and Home V2H, V2G and V2X products within the Dealers network. This role will produce results that don't need explaining via a highly trained and engaged Dealer sales network in a customer-focused manner.

They will act as consultants and trusted advisors to the dealers and work collaboratively with them to develop and implement their business plans. They may be involved in various initiatives including developing and implementing marketing initiatives, customer retention, product displays, financial analysis, and training. Additionally, the role will be instrumental in collecting and providing constructive feedback to the central office team and play a critical role in shaping programs, processes, and initiatives.

This position reports to the Manager - Home Dealer Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between Energy Infotrees' Home Referrals and Authorized Dealers
  • Grow and foster relationships.
  • Facilitate mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly/yearly sales objectives are met.
  • Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) or other customer feedback resources to identify and address deficiencies or opportunities.
  • Assist in product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising.
  • Monitor Dealership personnel training and ensure compliance with Infotree's requirements/objectives.
  • Analyze Dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Increase sales of Infotree's home products to its customers.
  • Assist in customer problem resolution.
  • Travel to your dealers in your designated region.
Required Skills / Experience / Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent, relevant experience.
  • 3+ years experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Experience in automotive sales and specific knowledge of sales operations across big OEM brand teams is required. Experience as a District Sales Manager is preferred.
  • Previous experience in Energy Sales and Technology / SaaS sales is an asset
  • Demonstrated a high level of interpersonal skills required to build and maintain relationships across an organization.
  • Experience establishing sales performance standards and KPIs within a dealer network is preferred.
  • Expert-level knowledge of EVs, EV Charging Networks, Home EV Charging products, and Installation services.
  • A prolific communicator with highly proficient presentation skills and strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong intellectual horsepower and proven ability to take complex technical product offerings and simply them for consumers and sales teams is required.
  • Strong computer software and analytics skills, especially Client Office, with particular emphasis on Client Excel, and the ability to take complex amounts of data and develop key insights and actions.
  • Willing to travel up to 75% of the time, as necessary to execute the responsibilities of the position
