The Wilner Group has partnered with a dynamic small law firm specializing in global patents and trademarks, dedicated to providing clients with expert legal advice and innovative solutions. Together, we are searching for a Patent Attorney to join their team remotely (must be located on the East Coast).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications in various technical fields.
• Conduct prior art research and patentability assessments.
• Draft and review office action responses, appeals, and other legal documents.
• Assist clients in navigating global patent regulations and requirements.
• Provide legal advice on patent strategy, infringement, and enforcement matters.
• Conduct trademark searches and assist with the registration of trademarks.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to practice in the relevant jurisdiction (for Patent Attorney).
• For Patent Agent candidates: a technical degree in a relevant field and successful completion of the USPTO registration exam.
• Portable business of $250K.
• Experience in patent prosecution, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong knowledge of intellectual property laws and regulations, including the Patent Act and Trademark Act.

Compensation: $200K, based on experience.
