About the role

As an Account Executive, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by building and maintaining client relationships, uncovering business challenges, and positioning software development solutions that meet client needs. You will own the full sales cycle from lead generation through close, while collaborating with delivery and technical teams to ensure strong outcomes and long term client success.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through outbound and inbound channels
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts by developing strong, trusted relationships
  • Lead discovery meetings and needs assessments to understand client requirements and success criteria
  • Collaborate with technical and project management teams to develop and present tailored proposals
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and solution demos
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms in alignment with company goals
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis
  • Maintain accurate, up to date records of all sales activity in the CRM
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and evolving service offerings
Required qualifications and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • 5 plus years of B2B sales experience, ideally within technology, software development, or IT services
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into clear business value
  • Self motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with CRM tools such as HubSpot or Salesforce and productivity tools such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience in consultative or solution based selling
