Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court hearings and offer legal counsel in family law
• Maintain well-organized files to ensure team members have timely access to updates
• Provide conflict resolution guidance, analyze legal matters, and engage in negotiations for clients specializing in family law
• Create various legal documents, including contracts, briefs, and settlement agreements
• Facilitate efficient case management by effectively communicating with clients and paralegals
• Attend team meetings on a regular, scheduled basis

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience handling family law cases in Texas
• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
• Proficiency in accurately tracking billable hours
• Advanced proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new software
• Experience with MyCase and TxDocs preferred
• Strong multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and reliability
• Problem-solving and effective communication skills
• Ability to reliably commute to Austin, TX 78746
