Painting Estimator

Location: San Juan Capistrano, CA. No remote or hybrid option available. Must be able to work onsite

Salary: $40-45 per hour DOE

Long term, direct hire position

Paint Industry: 3 years (Required) We need a paint expert

On-screen takeoff: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: In person

Must be proficient with Planswift, Bluebeam, and Excel software

Our client is a professional, agile, fast-paced contractor and who's goal is to bring another estimator onto the team to increase revenue. They are a family owned and operated painting company, who specializes in commercial paint and wallcovering projects. They have the reputation and experience to provide superior service and quality to our clients. Work is located mainly in the Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, and the Inland Empire.

This position is for a Painting Estimator. Someone who is detail oriented, a team player, honest and who can communicate effectively, as well as provide exceptional pricing and service to our customers.

Overview: Painting Estimator

We are looking for an estimator with strong knowledge in construction estimating, paint process and products. Heavy computer skills to quantify, price and negotiate the award of painting projects for handoff to our operations team. 4 years' experience in construction estimating and paint knowledge a must. Someone who is pro-active, who understands the sales process and can execute from RFP to award. Collaborate with project management teams to ensure alignment on client expectations and deliverables. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales acumen to drive business growth and ensure customer satisfaction.

Duties:Painting Estimator

Develop and maintain relationships with clients in the construction industry

Utilize Bluebeam, Planswift and Excel software for project estimation and pricing-REQUIRED

Conduct thorough construction estimating to provide accurate quotes for potential projects

Engage in negotiations with clients to finalize contracts and agreements

Provide insights on pricing strategies based on market trends and competitor analysis

Hardworking sales minded who is results driven

Experience

Proven experience in sales within the construction industry

Familiarity with construction estimating processes and tools, including Bluebeam and Planswift

Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract management

Experience in cost control, pricing strategies, and project management methodologies

Previous paint industry experience is highly desirable, providing practical insights into client needs

A background in construction management is a plus, enhancing understanding of project workflows.
