Position Summary

The Field Account Executive at Empower Pharmacy accelerates business growth by identifying, engaging, and securing new healthcare partnerships. This role plays a critical part in expanding our reach, introducing Empower's high-quality, affordable medications to providers, clinics, and institutions that can benefit from our pharmaceutical solutions.Through proactive prospecting, strategic relationship-building, and consultative selling, this position drives new account acquisitions, strengthens industry impact, and supports Empower's mission of improving patient care through expanded medication access.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes high-impact sales strategies using a proactive approach to drive new business growth, leveraging data-driven insights, competitive analysis, and market intelligence to prioritize high-potential opportunities.
  • Establishes deep, consultative relationships with key decision-makers by understanding their unique challenges, tailoring value-driven solutions, and positioning Empower Pharmacy as a trusted partner in improving patient outcomes.
  • Demonstrates exceptional resilience and adaptability in navigating complex sales cycles, overcoming objections, and refining approaches based on customer feedback, industry trends, and evolving healthcare regulations.
  • Maximizes and accelerates territory revenue by analyzing sales performance, market trends, and prescribing patterns, understanding that revenue potential fluctuates based on territory demand. Earnings are directly tied to performance, with ten percent of total revenue generated from accounts within the assigned territory.
  • Champions continuous learning and industry expertise by staying ahead of pharmaceutical advancements, competitor activities, and regulatory changes, translating insights into strategic sales opportunities that differentiate Empower Pharmacy's offerings.
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The employee is often required to remain in a stationary position for a significant amount of the workday and frequently use their hands and fingers to handle or feel in order to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer and other office productivity devices. The employee is regularly required to move about the office and around the corporate campus. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Knowledge and Skills
  • Expertise in customer relationship management systems (Salesforce preferred), with the ability to analyze sales data, forecast market trends, and implement strategic outreach efforts that drive measurable growth.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate, negotiate, and present to diverse stakeholders, including executive leadership, medical professionals, and procurement teams, while adapting messaging to align with client-specific challenges and business objectives.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience field sales, business development, or pharmaceutical sales with a proven track record of acquiring and growing new accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree required in business, life sciences, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Certified Sales Professional or Pharmaceutical Sales Training Certification preferred. Required: Valid driver's license for field travel.
