Home Health Physical Therapist (PT) - Travel/Contract

Start Date: ASAP (Compliance typically takes ~3 weeks)

Shift: 8-hour Day Shifts

Location: Washington State (WA License Required)

Duration: Contract

First-Time Travelers Accepted: • Yes

Local Candidates Accepted: • Yes

Weekend Requirement: ❌ None

On-Call Requirement: ❌ None

Patient Ratio: 1:1 (Up to 6 patients/day)

Productivity Expectation: 27-30 points/day based on territory

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Home Health Physical Therapist (PT) for an immediate opportunity with a respected home health provider in Washington State. This position offers an ideal schedule, supportive systems, and flexible patient scheduling, making it a great fit for both experienced travelers and local clinicians.

Position Highlights:

  • Caseload: Adult patients only
  • Daily Visits: 4-5 per day
  • Mileage Reimbursement: IRS standard rate
  • Scrubs: Any color permitted
  • Charting System: Home Care Home Base (HCHB) - Required
  • Documentation Equipment: Provided (must be returned)
  • Driving Radius: Occasionally up to 100 miles, though routes are grouped efficiently to minimize windshield time
  • Transportation: Must have own reliable transportation
Requirements
Required Experience & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Skilled Home Health PT experience (within the last 3 years)

    • Inpatient-only experience will not be accepted
  • Current Washington PT License
  • BCLS Certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
  • Strong understanding of OASIS documentation
  • Must be comfortable working independently in home settings
