You will communicate with the foreman and/or Service Advisors. Responsibilities: • Source and remediate mechanical problems and malfunction codes that are identified in the vehicle's mechanical systems, electrical system, and electronic systems • Team up with managers and other mechanics to diagnose and service cars coming in for auto repairs • Complete preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning service, filling fluids, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries • Pursue continued education opportunities to grow technical skills • Maintain accurate customer records for vehicles' repairs, parts, maintenance histories, and more • Continue learning and growing technical skills and opportunities • Complete preventive maintenance work on vehicles, including oil changes, air conditioning service, filling fluids, and replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and batteries • Identify and address mechanical problems and malfunction codes found in the vehicle's electrical system, mechanical systems, and electronic systems • Conduct test drives, inspections, and diagnostic tests to determine automotive malfunctions • Work with team members to determine vehicle problems and solutions Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED equivalent required • Associate's degree from a vocational program, technical school, or community college is preferred - ASE certification is a big bonus • Required state-issued driver's license • Experience and manual dexterity using hand tools and other equipment is needed • Excellent work ethic, listening, problem-solving, and communication skills are desired Compensation: $70,000 - $100,000+ DOE

Compensation:
$70,000-$100,000 per year
