Compensation for the Production Assembler - $19 Per Hour - Monday Friday, 6 am 2:30 pm, possible change to a 4 10s schedule during busy season
Responsibilities for the Production Assembler - Rotate through a variety of assembly lines that assemble finished products from raw materials while ensuring company standards of quality are met. You could be working in the areas of CNC machining grinding/buffing/polishing, assembly, parts picking, and operating an industrial sewing machine - Follow directions from written SOPs to verbal communications from supervisors - Connect, screw, and attach to assemble assigned portion and then pass product on to next station in line - Work well in a team environment as well as self-motivated to work individually - Contribute ideas to improve processes, culture, etc. - Adhere to all company policies and procedures while working shifts consisting of 8 or 10 hours each - Additional duties as assigned
Requirements for the Production Assembler - 1 Year of production experience, or willingness to learn a new trade - Strong work ethic and exceptional attendance record is key factor - Continually strive to be a team player - Ability to work quickly and methodically while concentrating on repetitive tasks - Sharp eye for details - Willingness to accept changes and work where needed - Ability to troubleshoot routine assembly problems - Values a clean and safe work environment - High-level of integrity and dependability with a keen sense of urgency and results oriented approach - Successfully pass drug test and background check - MATH SKILLS: ability to calculate basic figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages - Physical requirements: stand for the majority of an 8 or 10-hour shift; use hands to assemble small parts into larger parts or operate machinery; talk/hear for communication and safety; walk; reach with hands and arms, occasionally stoop, kneel or crouch; vision to focus, identify and distinguish colors, attention to detail; frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
