This role involves working directly with executives and supporting multiple business units, including Clinical Chemistry, Automation, Hematology, and Urinalysis. The position can be based in Chaska, Minnesota, or Brea, California, with a remote option considered for highly-qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic business partner, advising on risk mitigation and supporting business objectives.
• Negotiate and structure agreements, providing practical legal solutions.
• Advise on regulatory, compliance, privacy, and litigation matters.
• Supervise legal professionals and improve department processes using Danaher Business System (DBS) concepts.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and 6+ years of business law experience in the medical device or life sciences industry.
• Active bar membership in good standing in at least one US jurisdiction.
• Up to 15% travel required.

Preferred Experience:

• Healthcare regulation experience, including FDA, HIPAA, GDPR, anti-kickback, and FCPA.
• Experience with software transactions.

The salary range is $160,000-$190,000 annually, plus bonus/incentives. Benefits include paid time off, health insurance, and 401(k).

This position is eligible for remote work, with on-site options in Minnesota or California.
