Role Summary:

The Construction Loan Administrator is responsible for managing the construction loan disbursement process, ensuring all draw requests, documentation, and regulatory requirements are handled accurately and efficiently. This role acts as a liaison between borrowers, builders, and internal teams, facilitating smooth and compliant disbursements throughout the construction process.

What You Will Be Doing:

  1. Process and review draw requests submitted by builders and borrowers through the designated construction loan platform.
  2. Ensure all required documentation, including invoices, receipts, and lien waivers, is complete and accurate before processing disbursements.
  3. Verify that work is completed before releasing funds and ensure compliance with construction loan guidelines.
  4. Coordinate inspections with third-party vendors and communicate results to stakeholders.
  5. Serve as the primary point of contact for borrowers and builders during the construction phase.
  6. Provide clear and timely updates on the status of draw requests and loan disbursements.
  7. Collaborate with Loan Officers, Processors, and Underwriters to address construction loan-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
  8. Maintain thorough knowledge of construction loan regulations and guidelines to ensure all processes meet compliance standards.
  9. Monitor and follow up on trailing documents, such as final lien waivers and completion certificates, to ensure a complete loan package.
  10. Issue Post-Closing Compliance Documents (PCCDs) related to construction loan disbursements within the required timelines.
  11. Identify opportunities to streamline the construction loan disbursement process and improve efficiency.
  12. Develop and maintain checklists and standard operating procedures for managing construction loans. Prioritize daily tasks to meet deadlines and manage borrower expectations.
  13. Maintain accurate records of all loan activities in the Loan Origination System (LOS) and construction management platforms.
  14. Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay updated on industry changes and organizational policies.
About You:
  1. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and correct discrepancies in documentation.
  2. Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  3. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for collaboration with borrowers, builders, and internal teams.
  4. Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Qualifications

What You Will Need:
  1. Four (4) year degree preferred, or equivalent work experience of seven (7) to ten (10) years in the mortgage processing industry will be accepted in lieu of education. Additional education or certifications in construction lending or mortgage support preferred.
  2. Minimum of one (1) year of experience in construction lending, mortgage processing, or a related field.
  3. Familiarity with construction loan guidelines and compliance requirements is highly desirable.
  4. Experience with loan origination systems and construction management platforms preferred.
  5. Proficiency in construction management software, loan origination systems, and standard Microsoft Office tools.
  6. Must obtain a valid Drivers License.

Full Salary Range:

$24.34 - $36.50

*While our full pay range is listed, most new team members typically start between the minimum and midpoint based on their experience and qualifications. This approach gives room to grow within the role as your career progresses with us!"
