The Northwest Hospital Alliance Director executes the strategic vision and manages the operations of the hospital alliance to support the delivery of rural health care. This position drives value for its members through fostering regional collaboration, deploying of shared learning and education, maximizing cost-sharing opportunities while optimizing economies of scale, facilitating joint advocacy efforts with local and state officials, and coordinating the pursuit of grant funding. This role requires navigating a highly matrixed set of stakeholders, partnering at all levels, and providing relationship management. This position is employed by Kootenai Health (KH) and contracted to provide leadership and management to the Northwest Hospital Alliance (NWHA) through a management contract between KH and NWHA.
