Position Summary:
At Cambium Spa, we recognize that recovery is just as important as adventure. We are searching for compassionate, skilled, and professional Massage Therapists to provide personalized bodywork and therapeutic treatments in our serene, alpine-inspired spa. After a day of skiing, our guests come seeking restoration, and we rely on our massage team to deliver expert care that rejuvenates them for their next adventure.
Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, and specialty treatments.
- Customize treatments according to guest needs and preferences.
- Maintain a warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor to enhance the wellness experience.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment rooms and equipment.
- Consult with guests prior to treatments to promote safety and comfort.
- Recommend follow-up treatments and promote wellness retail products.
- Work collaboratively with spa team members for an elevated guest experience.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and certifications.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Keep spa areas clean and well-maintained.
- Carry out other assigned duties as necessary.
Specific Job Skills:
License/Certifications: CPR AED First Aid, Licensed Massage Therapist
Technical: Basic understanding of computers and applications helpful.
Physical Capabilities: Ability to be on feet for up to 8 hours, lift up to 25 lbs, and navigate various weather conditions.
Additional: Schedules may vary, particularly during lighter seasons.
Education/Related Experience:
Minimum education required: High school diploma/GED, LMT training & license. Minimum of 5 years in a related position.
