Role Summary
The Director, Client Acquisition is responsible for revenue growth through developing trusted client relationships, contributing to P&L, and closing new business in target regions. This role leads a sales team promoting ENGIE's sustainability solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, setting and tracking sales quotas and KPIs.
- Understand and communicate ENGIE Impact's offerings and value propositions.
- Develop strategic sales plans, forecasts, and manage performance metrics.
- Engage in contract negotiations and develop account growth strategies.
- Lead quarterly business reviews and collaborate across functions to support sales initiatives.
- Establish new business opportunities through networking and client engagement.
Initial Six Months Goals
- Learn the business, develop relationships, and establish foundational processes.
Long-term Objectives
- Implement value creation strategies, optimize sales processes, and exceed revenue targets.
Success Factors
- Partner with internal teams, leverage data for decision-making, and execute strategic initiatives effectively.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Sustainability, Business Management or related fields.
- 15+ years of sales experience, including at least 7 years in energy or sustainability services.
- Proven success in solution selling and managing large portfolios.
Skills & Competencies
- Strategic thinker, operational leader, results-oriented, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
Additional Information
Work environment, physical activity requirements, and commitment to diversity and inclusion are detailed. Salary range is $128,000-$170,000, with comprehensive benefits.
