We are seeking a driven, passionate, and global-minded Sr Global Strategic Product Specialist to support the transformation of our Aortic business. This role will enable the future of our aortic business and reports directly to the Global Strategic Marketing Sr Group Manager. You will lead global product management and connectivity driving demand alignment, product risk mitigation, and product lifecycle execution in support of our vision to advance aortic patient care globally. Your work will have a global impact by ensuring life-saving aortic products are available when and where patients need them. Your leadership will play a key role in advancing our Aortic Vision, ensuring clear, consistent communication across regions to support optimal patient care worldwide.

A Day in the Life
Lead Development of Product Strategy
Define and communicate global product strategy for life-saving aortic devices, ensuring alignment with Medtronic's Aortic Vision and broader business objectives
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, marketing, regulatory, and supply chain) to develop a comprehensive strategy for product availability, demand forecasting, and lifecycle management
Drive data-driven decision-making by analyzing market trends, patient needs, and demand signals to shape and refine product strategies across the world
Ensure strategic alignment between product development, supply chain operations, and commercial teams to deliver consistent messaging and maximize global reach
Refine and implement global communication framework to keep internal stakeholders informed on product status, market conditions, and resource allocation, ensuring all teams are aligned on product needs and priorities
Leverage insights from product performance and market feedback to continuously adjust and optimize product strategies, ensuring products are positioned to meet patient needs and market demands globally
Influence executive leadership and key stakeholders through strategic recommendations and presentations, driving alignment on product priorities and investment decisions
Develop Advanced Analytics and Market Insights
Analyzes market trends to anticipate product demand needs and communicates regularly with supply chain & operations
Develop predictive models and analytics frameworks to assess market share and product performance post-quarter, driving strategic adjustments and business optimization
Provide actionable, data-driven insights to senior leadership, guiding product lifecycle management (i.e. rationalization, expansion, etc.), resource allocation, and market positioning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on data insights, driving operational execution and strategic decisions across regions
Competitive Intelligence
Integrate insights from market feedback and competitive intelligence to continuously refine product strategies and align with evolving market needs
Understands and analyzes the competitive landscape to drive insights as it relates to traditional and emerging global competitors
Stays current on key clinical literature and competitive activities and communicates important findings to relevant stakeholders and functional partners
Keeps current on new and competitive technology offerings in the marketplace
Foster Collaboration
Build a robust stakeholder network for seamless cooperation
Align with key geographies and functional partners to create strong product management community
Ensure consistent (i.e., weekly, monthly, and quarterly) alignment with cross-functional and geographic partners to share best practices, tools, and drive global coordination
Ensure all product and communication activities are compliant with regulatory & compliance standards
Regularly evaluate and improve process efficiency
Additional Dimensions
This role is considered remote, but based in US market
Physical office location is in Santa Rosa, CA for candidates with desire to work within office setting
It may require >20% travel
Must Haves
Language: Fluency in English
Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or related disciplines
Experience: >4 years of professional experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Product Management Expertise: Ability to lead cross-functional teams, prioritize initiatives, and drive successful product development and lifecycle management
Communication: Effective communication skills, including delivering impactful messages, establishing trust, and building relationships
Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Leadership: Experience in successfully leading teams (directly or indirectly) to deliver results

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$115,200.00 - $172,800.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
