Position Summary:
Greets incoming customers in a pleasant and professional manner. Processes payment of customer purchases at retail locations. Counts money to verify amounts and issues receipts for funds received using a cash register
What You'll Do:
* Greets customers and receives payment; issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers; package customer purchases; thanks customers for their business.
* Acknowledges incoming customers in a pleasant manner and provides product information, location, and general store knowledge. Directs customer to product pick-up point, if necessary.
* Opens and closes-out till and accurately documents all transactions, makes accurate change, verifies credit cards and checks, and balances receipts.
* Provides prompt and efficient telephone service.
* Keeps work area clean and neat.
* Assists in pricing and stocking inventory, display preparation and maintenance, and maintains quality store presentation.
* Participates in annual physical inventory activities.
* Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injury to self or co-workers; attends periodic safety meetings as required; may recommend changes to improve safety procedures.
* Other duties may be assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and six (6) months related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Work Environment / Physical Activity:
* Subject to both typical office environment and outside locations with temperature and weather variations.
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
