Accountant at Robert Half in Post Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accountant in Post Falls, Idaho. This role will involve reviewing financial documents, coordinating with various teams, and maintaining financial reports. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of our financial transactions and records. Responsibilities: - Review and verify accuracy of incoming financial documents such as bills of lading, customs declarations, and purchase orders. - Ensure timely and accurate posting of invoices in SAP, maintaining correct account assignments. - Collaborate with logistics and procurement teams to facilitate seamless documentation flow with customs authorities. - Maintain and update monthly reports concerning freight and customs expenses. - Perform additional duties as assigned within the accounts payable department. - Review freight and customs invoices for completeness and accuracy. - Ensure accurate data entry and financial records with high attention to detail. - Use strong communication and problem-solving skills to resolve any issues or discrepancies. - Reconcile account balances, prepare journal entries, and perform month-end close activities. - Utilize various software applications such as Microsoft Excel, NetSuite, Oracle, and SAP for accounting tasks.
