As a Regional Head of Processing, you create chemistry by...

  • Develop and implement regional processing objectives to align with global departmental and corporate goals, ensuring timely achievement of targets.
  • Analyze regional processing activities to identify necessary changes for growth and improvement.
  • Advise the Global Head of Processing on resource requirements to support the regional sales plan.
  • Manage the regional Processing department in accordance with global strategies, ensuring effective delivery of seed forms and treatments.
  • Monitor and verify departmental resources, including equipment, labor, and supplies, to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
  • Oversee personnel management, including training, development, and budget monitoring, to maintain a competent and efficient department.

If you...

  • Have a Bachelor's/Master's degree with a focus on plant management or an Ag-related background, or other relevant field of study.
  • Possess 10 years of experience in warehousing, seed conditioning, seed enhancement, seed treatment, and/or packaging/shipping.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a managerial capacity.
  • Possess knowledge of domestic and international vegetable seed markets and processing protocols.
  • Have technical and strategic thinking faculty, especially within the area of responsibility.
  • Be capable of managing, motivating, and stimulating people in challenging and difficult working environments.
  • Have knowledge of Operational Excellence methodologies (e.g., lean manufacturing, six-sigma).
  • Have previous experience managing capital investments between $1-5MM annually, preferred.
  • Have previous experience managing operational budgets exceeding $10MM, preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%, domestically and internationally.
