Position and sell a combination of one or more Information Technology Services, Software engineering, Testing, UI/UX Design services, ERP, Application development, mobility, cloud infra support & maintenance, etc
Pro-active & consultative selling ability
Technical depth and understanding to present capabilities & differentiators succinctly
Account opening, account management, relationship building at Senior & CXO levels, and nurturing these relationships
Ability to assimilate, learn company's IT services offerings and present them to customers at senior level management to gain mindshare, generate sales leads.
Excellent business communication skills, presentation & listening skills, and business acumen to qualify to pursue sales leads
Tenacity, and patience to understand customer requirements and lead a team of pre-sales & solutions, subject matter experts in large opportunity pursuits
Experience in handling opportunities of sizes ranging from USD 3 Mill TCV and upwards
Work closely with solutioning counterparts to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budgets, and achieve CSAT that generates repeat business, project extensions
Maintain CRM up to date with respect to leads, revenue & collections
Reporting: Prepare and present performance stats & analytics for periodic management reviews, QBR and annual planning
Ensure account receivables are collected within prescribed timelines
Identify, plan & participate in industry events & exhibitions to present the company to increase brand awareness, garner mindshare, generate sales leads
Qualifications:
Bachelor's/undergrad degree in Engineering or bachelor's degree in Science with a focus on Information technology or Instrumentation or Electronics & Communications or electronics is required.
Post-grad diploma or degree in Business Studies with specialization in IT-related topics/marketing/economics etc is a plus
At least 10 years of direct sales experience as an individual contributor and hunting experience in IT services sales is mandatorily required
Senior candidates with higher experience will also be considered.
Domain understanding of any of the verticals such as BFSI, Retail, Insurance, or Software Engineering is required
Professional references will be required after pre-qualification and initial interviews. These shall be managers to whom you reported previously and not colleagues
Compensation: Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and domain expertise. A sales incentive plan is applicable
